Columbus is prepared to offer 5th Echelon maintenance programs for the Cascavel and Urutu vehicles produced by Engesa. The Brazilian Army contracted Columbus for a maintenance program for Urutu M-II vehicles produced between 1975 and 1977, which has been successfully completed
Columbus has been contracted by the Brazilian Army to make the project and prototype for the revitalization of the Urutu M-II vehicle concluded with approval of the CAEx (Brazilian Army Evaluation Center). It concerns the replacing of the vital items of the vehicle, such as engine and transmission, already discontinued by the automotive industry.
The priority of the project is low cost and that the characteristics of the original project remain unchanged. The Cascavel Vehicle, being originally standardized with Urutu Vehicle, can have the same solution as the Urutu Vehicle.
