Over time, some important items such as engines, for example, were discontinued in their manufacture in Brazil, but continue to be manufactured in other countries.

Columbus, when necessary, import these items to keep the Engesa Vehicles operational as the primary reason being the supply of spare parts for the Brazilian Army and for the 20 countries that have adopted Military Vehicles for their Armies.

Suppliers have been reactivated for more than 20,000 items applied to Engesa vehicles and have already been exported to 19 countries.
